New Approaches in Telecommunications Policy II (NATP-II). The project aims to share knowledge and experience of telecommunications policy between the European Union and countries around the Mediterranean Sea (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey). It is led by Regulaid and funded by the European Commission.

Increasing ICT Access in Rural and Peri-Urban Nepal. The project designed a strategy and pilot projects to improve rural telecommunications and internet access in rural and peri-urban Nepal. It was carried out for the Nepal Ministry of Information and Communication and funded by the World Bank.

Telecommunications Demand: Measures for Improving Affordability. The project aimed to help telecommunications affordability improve along with access, through new approaches to market development and service packaging. It was based at the London School of Economics, sponsored by the World Dialogue on Regulation and funded by IDRC.

South-East Europe Fibre Infrastructure for Research and Education (SEEFIRE). The project looked at optical technologies for research and education networks in south east Europe (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia, Romania and Serbia & Montenegro). It was led by TERENA and funded by the European Commission.

Study into the evolution of European Research and Education Networking (SERENATE). The project identified initiatives for the evolution of research and education networking in Europe at local, national, regional and global levels. It was led by TERENA and funded by the European Commission.
